As an IT Manager at alltrails, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our IT environment, collaborating closely with the engineering team, and mentoring junior staff members. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructures, including cloud services, on-premises systems, and network architectures.
- Oversee the development of IT policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Leverage your technical expertise to resolve complex IT issues and provide support to the engineering team and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive efficiency and innovation.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance on technical skills and professional development.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet business objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT management, with a strong technical background in infrastructure, security, and software development.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale IT projects and driving organizational change.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
