We're seeking an Enterprise Support Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. As a crucial member of our core engineering team, you will be instrumental in building the next generation of database infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities:

Handle support requests from enterprise customers on the PlanetScale platform, providing timely and effective resolutions.
Develop in-depth knowledge of the PlanetScale platform and its components to become a subject-matter expert for enterprise customers.
Collaborate with Technical Account Management, Engineering, and Sales Engineering teams to identify product gaps and escalate them for prioritization and development.
Participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Communicate complex technical information to customers, providing clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve customer support and product knowledge.

Requirements & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or a related field.
Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, with a mix of experience and intuition to resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and technical teams.
Experience working with database systems, including Postgres and MySQL.
Familiarity with Vitess, an open-source database clustering system, is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
