Director of Compensation and Equity

Director of Compensation and Equity

  • • Design and execute our compensation strategy across base salary, variable pay, and equity with a focus on equity allocation, equity vesting, and employee retention.
  • • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor data to inform compensation decisions and ensure we remain a competitive employer.
  • • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to develop and implement policies and practices that support our company culture and goals.
  • • Conduct regular salary and equity surveys to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • • Collaborate with the People Operations & Development team to refine our compensation processes and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • • Drive ongoing analysis and optimization of our compensation programs to ensure they drive the right behaviors and outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • • 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting, HR, or a related field, with a strong focus on equity allocation and variable pay.
  • • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Compensation, Benefits, or Labor Relations.
  • • Proven track record of developing and implementing impactful compensation strategies that drive business results.
  • • Strong understanding of equity markets and valuation methodologies.
  • • Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
  • • Experience working with HR systems and processes, including Workday or similar.
