We're seeking a Benefits Onboarding Advocate to join our team at Gusto, where you'll be responsible for setting up customers with their health benefits and providing a delightful experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and set up customers with their health benefits, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Guide customers through the complex process of selecting and enrolling in group benefits, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient benefits administration.
  • Analyze and resolve customer issues, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of benefits administration processes and procedures, staying up-to-date on regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, customer service, or a related field, preferably with experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Proficiency in benefits administration systems and software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
