Accounting Manager, Prime Financing

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness through each close cycle.
• Build scalable, automated financial processes and controls for the prime financing function, including drafting standard operating procedures that reduce manual effort and support SOX compliance.
• Lead a team through monthly close and quarterly/annual reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and risk management to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal business partners and external auditors.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments, providing recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Promote a culture of risk management, accuracy, and attention to detail within the finance organization.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA designation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on finance and operations.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in accounting software and systems, such as SAP, Adaptive Insights, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A strong understanding of financial regulations, including SOX and GAAP compliance.
