About the Role

Coinbase Canada is seeking an Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our Global Financial and Regulatory Reporting team within Finance. In this role, you'll serve as the primary Finance owner for all recurring regulatory filings and maintain IFRS books of account.

Key Responsibilities

Own the preparation, review, and submission of all recurring regulatory filings (Form 31-103F1, CIRO Form 1, and other OSC/CIRO submissions), ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Drive monthly management reporting and board-level financial analysis for Coinbase Canada, including variance commentary and strategic insight to inform business decisions.
Maintain IFRS books of account, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Tax, Treasury, and Legal to ensure capital adequacy, compliance, and accuracy in financial reporting.
Design scalable reporting processes and build robust internal controls to drive efficiency and minimize risk.
Automate reporting cycles to streamline processes and minimize manual intervention.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in accounting and regulatory reporting, preferably in a financial services or fintech environment.
Strong understanding of IFRS, ASC, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSC, CIRO, CSA) in Canada.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Hyperion, JDE, SAP) and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA) or be in the process of obtaining one.
Able to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with global teams.
