We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Mixpanel and drive growth and retention through outstanding relationship-building and commercial acumen.

As an Account Manager at Mixpanel, you will be responsible for owning and growing our top accounts, fostering deep relationships with our customers, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owner of Mixpanel's top accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Strategic lead for customer account development and growth, driving adoption and upsells to expand existing footprint.
  • Commercial management of renewals, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and driving revenue growth.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams (Services, Sales, Marketing) to develop strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive business outcomes.
  • Regularly communicating with Senior/VP-level customers and Mixpanel's executive team to ensure alignment and drive business results.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Experience working with high-value, complex customers, and a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts, build trust, and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, revenue growth, and business development.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
