Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and close leads and opportunities through engaging dormant accounts and performing lead-generation activities into new targeted accounts.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to convey Toptal's vision, identify opportunities, present its value proposition, and secure new business.
- Effectively manage inbound leads as required.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Toptal's services and value proposition to effectively communicate them to potential clients.
- Continuously research and analyze industry trends, competitor landscapes, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies and drive growth.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience (at least 3 years) in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of success in prospecting, closing business, and managing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and persuade potential clients.
- Deep understanding of technology, design, and business services, with the ability to effectively communicate Toptal's value proposition to clients.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to identify and analyze market opportunities, competitor landscapes, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of accountability and strong work ethic.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and achieve goals without direct supervision.
