About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Startups team, where you will lead the sales efforts to drive growth and revenue for Vercel's customers. You will be responsible for navigating complex sales cycles, building relationships with top-tier founders and decision-makers, and delivering value-added solutions that meet the unique needs of our startup customers.
With a strong focus on building trust and credibility with our customers, this role requires a collaborative and consultative approach to sales, as well as a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and the technologies that power it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales efforts for Vercel's startup customers, developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with top-tier founders and decision-makers, providing value-added solutions and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and engineering, to align on sales strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide solutions to meet the unique needs of our startup customers, including technical, commercial, and strategic support.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, including the latest trends, technologies, and challenges facing founders and their teams.
- Drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, including pipeline development, new business acquisition, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, with a focus on closing deals and delivering revenue growth.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with top-tier founders and decision-makers, with a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales cycles and develop strategic plans to drive growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of SaaS technologies, including infrastructure, security, and scalability.
