Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Stripe's revenue with existing AI customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating to close.
  • Develop account plans and cross-sell into your list of strategic AI customers, driving growth through expansion and new revenue streams.
  • Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations to secure new and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Become a thought leader in the AI sales space and represent Stripe at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to align sales strategies with business objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of success in AI sales or a related field, with a strong understanding of the AI industry landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing sales team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or business.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Familiarity with the Stripe platform and a passion for fintech innovation.
