We're seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team and take the first step in an exciting journey with one of the world's leading companies in the AI and search technology space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the financial aspects of the business run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks with guidance from the Accounting Manager, including ledger entries and financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial information is shared and communicated effectively.
- Monitor and handle financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications such as QuickBooks or Accounting and Bookkeeping certifications are a plus.
